Congratulations Edita!
Good job Edita! My nana just graduated for an English course given by the Philippine Consulate. Thank goodness my Oma gave me this shirt so I had something to wear!

Busted!
I admit it, I love cords. I love electrical cords, I love computer cords, I love camera cords, and if our house had them, I'm sure I would love blind cords. And of course, I love music chords. However, those are in short supply as of late, my Mom is gone, and Dad couldn't carry a note if they had handles on them. So Since I can't hear my chords, I will find every single cord in this house, I promise you that!

The Loneliness of Karsten's Father.
Today was the first day Dad and I were officially bachelors. My Dad has been prepping me for a few weeks by watching reruns of The Courtship of Eddie's Father (btw: if you get that joke, you're really old, you know that, right?). And we have both gone on a bachelors diet consisting of meat and anything microwaveable. And, I have been hitting the bottle as well from time to time.

A ONE, A TWO, and A THREE!
Well, it's nearing the end of my first baseball season and it promises to be a good one. Yes, I know the mighty redbirds from Archtown didn't make the playoffs, but something very special is afoot. After years of hoping and several almosts lately, the world might finally see a Cubs vs. Red Sox series. After all, who could resist the story, the two remaining catherals of baseball as a backdrop, the Red Sox looking to build a dynasty, and the Cubs looking for thier first World Series win in 100 years. I can't wait! Mom and Dad did good making sure I got here to see this!

I Know The Dark
Winston Churchill is often given credit for the quote, "It's always darkest just before the dawn." I guess he can say it is his own, after all, he did add the word just. Other often quoted 20th century leader Chairman Mao is thought to have once said,"It is darkest before it goes completely black." Now, I know both are not to be taken literally, but I do know something about the dark. I spend more time in it that most and I can tell you without reservation that indeed.....

Catch
Welll, the footage is out there so I guess I better show it on my website. This is video taken by a scout without my permission mind you, of a workout with my Dad. Now, keep in mind, the practice immediately ended after this due to this invasion of my privacy.

Oh so important
The following is my take on the state of affairs in my life. As this is of such utter importance to all who hear it I'm sure, I have decided to post it on one of the most popular blogs in the world, MINE!
