First Day on the Job

Today was my first day of receiving visitors and I really enjoyed it. One person I meant today was my Great-Grandmother Lewis. She was very nice. We had a long chat about things and I found out that I was #10 on her list of great grandchildren, and if your counting by tens that makes me Number 1. I meant some other people as well. I meant my Auntie Theresa and my Auntie Barb. Auntie Theresa gave me a whole room of toys to play with during my stay, including this swing that I am so obviously enjoying. Everybody has been so nice to me so far, I can't wait to meet more and more people.

Summer Relocation

My North American Tour has began, I landed yesterday in St. Louis Missouri, the city in which Iced Tea and the Ice Cream Cone were invented. But, that is not where I am staying. I am staying in what has become the far flung suburb of St. Louis, Wright City, Mo. Wright City claims to fame used to be Big Boy's Restaurant and the uber famous Elvis is Alive Museum. But, unfortunately, both have gone the way Clear Pepsi and Jarts. I guess I will just have to investigate what make what now defines my first stop on the tour. More to come.

Leavin on a Jet Plane!

Well, the day has finally come, I Leavin' On A Jet Plane. Now, I have been planing this post for a couple of weeks now, and I knew I wanted to use this song, but, I also knew I didn't want to use the Peter, Paul and Mary version. I mean after the Puff the Magic Dragon thing, how can I use any of thier music on my website, I'm Straight Edge. I also knew I couldn't use the John Denver version because his name in my house is used with the reverence of a fallen head of state, and therefore if not treated with the highest of respect, I would be in the doghouse. So, I found this version. It's nice, right? Very Islandy! So, until I land later today in St. Louis, Auf Wiedersehen!

I Luv My Swing

This weekend, my parents bought me a new swing. My Dad told me he found it on the side of the road but I saw it online first and slyly left the window open for them to see. It has one speed, Fast, which I prefer. It also has one song, Fahrt des Valkyries from Wagner's Das Ring des Nibelungen, which is just perfect for me. Lot's of toys of this kind like to use Puccini or Mozart, but I prefer something more manly.

Writer's Block

Things are winding down here in Saipan and I find myself with a
massive case of writer's block. As I look out my window to the coconut and banana trees and the ocean beyond that, I cannot for the life of me think of anything to say. I am at a complete loss. I was thinking that maybe the plane ride will refresh my muse, but who knows?

Getting Too Small!

Is it just me, or is my bed getting to small? This thing is supposed to hold me until I get to be about 30 pounds, but I don't think that it is going to make it. Maybe it is shrinking? You know, all kinds of weird things happen on these islands in the Pacific. Oh well, my parental units can finally set up my racecar bed. But, this whole shrinking thing has me worried. I hope it doesn't get any smaller, or I won't be able to stretch out, and that will not make me happy.
